We had so much fun with the mechanical bull! The staff was so kind and helpful, and enjoyed the event as much as we did. I’d recommend Game Crazy and their staff to anyone looking to take their event or party a next level!

Ask the Reference Desk
- How far is Northfield from your warehouse?
- About 27 miles from our Norton warehouse, roughly 35 to 40 minutes on the road. We’ll confirm your setup window when you book.
- How much room does the 60-foot course need?
- Plan on an open, flat space of about 25 x 80 feet with 20 feet of clearance overhead. It needs two circuits and is recommended for ages 10 to adult.
- Which picks need no power at all?
- Pool Shark is a tabletop game, so it needs zero circuits. Just put it on a standard 72 x 30 inch table.
- Is there something for younger kids?
- The Retro 14 slide pairs a climbing wall with a quick slide, and the Football Toss is easy for anyone to try. Go Racers is recommended for ages 8 to adult.
- What does the Backyard Bash Bundle Deluxe include?
- A themed bounce house with a custom banner, a 30-foot obstacle course, a sno-cone package with 50 servings, a 20 x 20 pole tent, 4 tables, 32 chairs and two cornhole sets.
- Do inflatables need an adult helper?
- Yes. Please plan on one adult volunteer at each inflatable to manage the line and keep riders safe. Our crew will walk them through the rules at setup.
Old Northfield in Four Volumes
VOL. IOne Township, Four Towns
The first settler family arrived by covered wagon in 1807, settling what was then called Town 5, Range 11. According to the village's history, Olde Northfield later divided into four communities: Macedonia in 1905, Sagamore Hills in 1932 and Northfield Center Township in 1935. The part that remained is today's Northfield Village.
VOL. IIThe Red Pump
The red pump at the center of Northfield Center Township marks the old town square's water supply. The township's landmark page says the original pump went in during the 1840s and was destroyed in the early 1970s when a vehicle hit it. The township later rebuilt the pump and its trough.
VOL. IIIFrom Greyhounds to Harness Racing
The village history says Sportsman Park opened in 1934 as a greyhound track. It soon changed owners and switched to midget car racing. The grandstand came down in 1956 to make way for Northfield Park, which opened for harness racing the next year, as the Old Northfield chronology also notes.
VOL. IVBooks Carried by Hand
The Palmer House, built around 1844, once served as staff housing and as a PTA-sponsored library. When the new Northfield library opened in the 1960s, children helped carry the books over by hand. The house is now a museum run by the local historical society.
