Our Flex Delivery option offers discounted pricing in exchange for scheduling flexibility.

By choosing Flex Delivery, you agree that we may:

  • Deliver your rental up to 2 days before your event.

If you cannot accommodate the scheduled delivery or pickup window, your order may:

  • Be converted to Same-Day Delivery, which carries a minimum additional charge of $99, or

Inflatable Setup Requirements

Indoor Events

For indoor inflatable rentals:

  • Our delivery vehicle must be able to park within 75 feet of the entrance.
  • We require a direct path to the setup location.
  • No stairs or steps.
  • Double doors with removable center posts must be opened before our arrival.

Outdoor Events

For outdoor inflatable rentals:

  • The setup area must be level and free of rocks, sharp objects, pet waste, sand, or other hazards.
  • There must be at least 15 feet of clearance from overhead power lines and tree branches.
  • Our delivery vehicle must be able to park within 75 feet of the setup area.
  • There can be no hills, stairs, or pathways narrower than 4 feet between the vehicle and setup location.

Weather Policy

For the safety of all participants, inflatables and many attractions cannot be operated during rain or high winds.

Weather-related cancellations are handled according to the cancellation policy outlined in your rental agreement. Because equipment is reserved exclusively for your event, weather does not automatically qualify for a refund. Please review your contract for complete cancellation and rescheduling terms.

Volunteer-Operated Rentals

Some rental packages include a discount when you provide volunteers to supervise specific attractions.

If your contract requires volunteer operators:

  • Volunteers must be identified before our arrival.
  • Volunteers must attend a brief training session approximately 20 minutes before your event begins.
  • Attractions cannot operate without an attendant.
  • If volunteers are unavailable, Game Craze may be able to provide staff based on availability. Additional staffing charges may apply, and your volunteer discount may be removed and charged to the payment method on file.

Ask your Event Specialist about our Volunteer Care Pack, which helps make managing volunteer-operated attractions even easier.

Important Notice

Failure to meet the delivery, setup, power, access, or safety requirements described above may result in additional charges, delayed setup, or, in rare circumstances, the cancellation of some or all rental equipment if it cannot be installed safely.

Delivery fees vary depending on the delivery option you choose, the equipment being rented, and the distance from our warehouse in Norton, Ohio.

Many of our rentals include professional delivery, setup, and pickup, while others may qualify for Customer Pick-Up or Flex Delivery to help reduce costs. Because every event is unique, delivery charges are calculated based on your event location, accessibility, and the size of your order.

When you request a quote, we’ll provide a clear breakdown of any applicable delivery fees before you book. Our goal is to offer the most cost-effective delivery option while ensuring your equipment arrives safely and on time anywhere throughout Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Medina, Wooster, Massillon, Hudson, and across Northeast Ohio.

Setup time depends on the type of equipment you’ve rented, the number of attractions on your order, the event location, and the size of the delivery crew assigned to your event.

Here are some general guidelines:

  • Bounce houses and standard inflatables: Approximately 30 minutes each.
  • Large attractions, such as our Rock Wall or V5 Euro Bungee Combo, typically require 90 minutes or more to set up safely.
  • Events with multiple attractions, tents, concessions, or power equipment may require additional setup time.

For larger events with three or more major attractions, one of our Event Staffing Managers will contact you before your event to review your event layout, delivery schedule, setup requirements, power needs, and any special considerations. This planning process helps ensure your equipment is installed efficiently and your event starts on time.

Our goal is to have every attraction fully installed, safety inspected, and ready for guests before your event begins, giving you peace of mind and a smooth, stress-free experience.

Yes, an adult must be present during delivery. Someone 18 years of age or older must be onsite to meet our delivery team, review the setup location, receive operating and safety instructions (when applicable), and sign the required delivery paperwork.

No, you do not need to be present for pickup, as long as our crew has safe access to all rented equipment. Please ensure that:

  • All rental items are accessible at the scheduled pickup time.
  • Gates are unlocked and any access instructions have been provided in advance.
  • Electrical power remains available for inflatable rentals so our crew can perform a final inspection and safely deflate the equipment.

If access to the equipment is restricted or our crew cannot retrieve the rental items at the scheduled time, additional service charges may apply.

Our goal is to make delivery and pickup as convenient and efficient as possible for events throughout Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Medina, Wooster, Massillon, Hudson, and across Northeast Ohio.

It depends on the delivery option you selected when booking your event.

  • Same-Day Delivery: Yes. Our crew will return after your event ends to pick up the rental equipment the same day.
  • Staffed Events: Yes. If Game Craze is providing attendants to operate your attractions, our team will dismantle and remove the equipment once your event is complete.
  • Flex Delivery: Maybe. As part of our discounted Flex Delivery option, we may pick up your equipment up to two days after your event. If we leave your equipment after the event, there is no additional charge, and you’re welcome to use it while it remains in your possession. Your guaranteed rental period is the time listed on your contract.

Your estimated pickup date and time will be included in the email you receive approximately 4 days before your event. If your schedule changes or you have special pickup requirements, please let your Event Specialist know as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate your request.

Inflatable Questions

.

The amount of space required depends on the inflatable or attraction you rent. Every rental item on our website includes the minimum setup dimensions, so you’ll know exactly how much space is needed before you book.

In addition to the dimensions of the inflatable, we recommend allowing:

  • At least 5 feet of clearance on all sides of the inflatable.
  • At least 15 feet of overhead clearance from power lines, tree branches, basketball hoops, roofs, and other overhead obstacles.
  • A flat, level setup area that is free of rocks, sticks, pet waste, sharp objects, and other hazards.
  • A setup location that is within 75 feet of where our delivery vehicle can park for most inflatables.
  • If Game Craze is not supplying a generator, the setup location must be within 100 feet of a dedicated electrical outlet (power source). If power is farther away or unavailable, we recommend renting one of our generators to ensure safe and reliable operation.

If you’re unsure whether your yard, gymnasium, school, church, or event site has enough room, our experienced Event Specialists are happy to help. Simply provide the dimensions of your available space or send us a few photos, and we’ll recommend the best bounce house, obstacle course, inflatable slide, or attraction for your event.

Our goal is to ensure your rental is installed safely, has adequate clearance, and is ready for your guests to enjoy throughout your event.

Yes. Almost all bounce houses, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, and interactive inflatables require a continuous source of electricity to operate. Each inflatable uses an electric blower that must remain running the entire time the inflatable is in use to keep the inflatable safely inflated.

Most standard inflatables require one dedicated 20-amp electrical circuit located within 100 feet of the setup area. Larger inflatables, obstacle courses, and multi-piece attractions may require two or more dedicated circuits, depending on the equipment.

What is a dedicated electrical circuit?

A dedicated circuit means the electrical circuit is being used only for the inflatable blower. Nothing else should be plugged into outlets that are on that same circuit while the inflatable is operating.

Many people confuse an electrical outlet (plug) with an electrical circuit, but they are not the same thing.

  • Electrical Outlet (Plug): The physical receptacle in the wall where you plug equipment in.
  • Electrical Circuit: The wiring inside your home or building that supplies power to one or more outlets. A single circuit may power several outlets, lights, or even rooms.

For example, you may have four different outlets on the same patio or wall, but they could all be connected to one electrical circuit. Plugging the inflatable into one outlet and a popcorn machine, refrigerator, stereo, or extension cord into another outlet on the same circuit can overload the circuit and trip the breaker.

Why is a dedicated circuit important?

Inflatable blowers draw a continuous amount of electricity while operating. If other appliances or equipment are using the same circuit, the circuit breaker may trip, causing the inflatable to lose power and deflate.

To ensure safe and reliable operation:

  • Use a dedicated 20-amp circuit for each inflatable blower.
  • Do not plug other appliances, extension cords with multiple devices, concession machines, fans, or sound systems into the same circuit.
  • Keep the power source within 100 feet of the setup area unless you are renting one of our generators.

If you’re unsure how many dedicated circuits are available at your event location, our Event Specialists can help determine your power requirements before your event. If adequate power isn’t available, Game Craze Party & Event Rentals offers generator rentals to safely power your equipment.

Yes! Game Craze Party & Event Rentals offers generator rentals for events where electrical power is unavailable or too far from the setup area.

Generators are commonly rented for:

  • Parks and recreation events
  • School fields and athletic complexes
  • Community festivals
  • Church grounds
  • Parking lots
  • Outdoor weddings
  • Company picnics
  • Any location without convenient access to electricity

If your setup location is more than 100 feet from a dedicated electrical circuit, or if your event location does not have power available, we recommend renting one of our generators. Our generators provide reliable power for bounce houses, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, interactive inflatables, concessions, and other rental equipment.

Not sure if you’ll need a generator? Our experienced Event Specialists will review your event layout and power requirements during the booking process and recommend the appropriate generator based on the attractions you’ve selected. This helps ensure your event runs safely and without interruption.

No. For the safety of all participants, inflatables must not be used during rain, thunderstorms, lightning, or high winds.

When an inflatable becomes wet, the jumping surface can become slippery, increasing the risk of slips and falls. Rain can also affect electrical equipment and reduce visibility for participants and attendants.

If rain begins during your event:

  • Everyone should immediately exit the inflatable.
  • Turn off the blower and unplug the unit if it is safe to do so.
  • Do not allow anyone to re-enter the inflatable until it is completely dry and weather conditions are safe.

Our delivery team will review the weather forecast before your event, but weather can change quickly. We encourage customers to monitor local weather conditions throughout the event.

Please note that weather-related cancellations and rescheduling are governed by the cancellation policy in your rental agreement. Because equipment is reserved exclusively for your event, refunds are not automatically issued due to weather. If severe weather is forecast, contact our office as early as possible to discuss the options available under your contract.

Your safety is our top priority. If you ever have questions about weather conditions during your event, our team is just a phone call away.

Safety Questions

Yes. Game Craze Party & Event Rentals is fully insured, and we can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) upon request for your event or organization.

Schools, colleges, churches, municipalities, parks and recreation departments, corporations, venues, and other organizations frequently require proof of insurance before allowing rental equipment or attractions onsite. Our Event Specialists can help provide the necessary insurance documentation for your event.

If Game Craze is staffing and operating the attractions at your event, your organization or venue may also be eligible to be added to our policy as an Additional Insured for a nominal fee.

If your venue requires a COI or Additional Insured status, please let us know as early as possible and provide the exact insurance requirements and certificate holder information so we can make sure the appropriate documentation is prepared before your event.

Yes. Game Craze Party & Event Rentals’ applicable inflatables, amusement rides, and attractions are inspected by the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) as required by Ohio law and applicable amusement ride safety regulations.

Safety is a top priority at every Game Craze event. In addition to inspections performed by the Ohio Department of Agriculture, our team performs regular equipment inspections and follows manufacturer guidelines and established safety procedures during setup and operation.

Our inspected attractions include applicable bounce houses, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, mechanical rides, rock walls, and other amusement attractions in our rental inventory.

Schools, colleges, churches, municipalities, parks and recreation departments, corporations, and event venues may request inspection documentation for their event. If your organization requires proof of inspection, a Certificate of Insurance (COI), or other safety documentation, please let our Event Specialists know when making your reservation, and we’ll be happy to provide the appropriate available documentation.

For the safety of your guests, inflatables and other wind-sensitive attractions cannot be operated when wind conditions exceed their safe operating limits. Wind speeds and operating requirements can vary by attraction, so customers and attendants must follow the specific instructions provided for their rental.

If winds increase during your event, stop operation immediately when instructed by Game Craze, the manufacturer guidelines, or the applicable wind limits for the attraction. Guests should exit the attraction, and the equipment should remain out of operation until conditions return to a safe level.

Wind conditions can change quickly, including sudden gusts that may be stronger than the sustained wind speed. For outdoor events, weather and wind conditions should be monitored throughout the entire rental period.

If high winds are forecast before your event, our team may contact you to discuss your event and available options. Game Craze reserves the right to delay setup, discontinue operation, or not set up an attraction when conditions are unsafe.

Weather-related cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are subject to the terms of your rental agreement. Safety always takes priority over keeping an attraction operating.

If severe weather develops during your event, stop using all affected attractions immediately and move guests to a safe location. Inflatables and other outdoor attractions should not be operated during unsafe conditions such as rain, thunderstorms, lightning, or high winds.

If you are using an inflatable, have all participants exit immediately. Follow the shutdown and safety instructions provided by Game Craze for your specific rental. Do not allow guests to return to the attraction until the severe weather has passed and conditions are safe for operation.

Weather conditions can change quickly, so an adult or designated ride attendant should monitor the weather throughout the event. Pay particular attention to approaching storms, lightning, increasing winds, and sudden wind gusts.

For staffed events, Game Craze staff have the authority to temporarily shut down or discontinue operation of an attraction whenever weather conditions become unsafe. Attractions will only reopen when our staff determines conditions allow for safe operation.

If severe weather is forecast before your event, please contact us as early as possible to discuss your options. Weather-related cancellations and rescheduling are handled according to the weather and cancellation terms in your rental agreement.

Guest safety always comes first.

It depends on the inflatable. Some Game Craze inflatables and attractions are designed for both adults and children, while others have specific age, height, or weight restrictions.

Before adults use a bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, slide, or interactive attraction, always check the requirements for that specific rental. Never exceed the manufacturer’s maximum weight, occupancy, or participant requirements.

For safety, adults and small children should generally not participate together at the same time when there is a significant difference in their size or weight. Ride attendants should separate participants by size and follow the operating instructions provided for the attraction.

If you’re planning a college event, corporate picnic, adult birthday party, team-building event, or community festival, let our Event Specialists know that adults will be participating. We can recommend inflatables, obstacle courses, mechanical rides, and interactive attractions specifically suited for adult guests.

Not sure if a particular inflatable is appropriate for adults? Contact Game Craze before your event, and we’ll help you choose the right attraction.

Shoes are not permitted on inflatables. All participants must remove their shoes before entering a bounce house, inflatable slide, obstacle course, or other inflatable attraction.

Participants should also remove or secure anything that could damage the inflatable or injure another guest, including sharp objects, jewelry, keys, pens, glasses when appropriate, and items in pockets.

Socks are recommended while using inflatables. Bare feet may be permitted on certain attractions, but requirements can vary depending on the inflatable and type of event.

For attractions that are not inflatables—such as rock walls, mechanical rides, or other specialty attractions—different footwear requirements may apply. Always follow the instructions provided by the Game Craze attendant or the operating rules posted for that attraction.

Proper footwear and following the attraction rules help protect both participants and the equipment while keeping your event safe and fun.

Pets are not permitted on inflatables or other rental attractions. Claws can puncture or damage inflatable material, and animals may also create a safety risk for participants.

Please keep pets a safe distance from bounce houses, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, mechanical rides, generators, electrical cords, blowers, stakes, and other rental equipment throughout your event.

Before our delivery crew arrives, please make sure the inflatable setup area is completely free of pet waste. Our team needs a clean, level, hazard-free area to safely install your rental. If the designated setup area contains pet waste or other unsafe conditions, setup may be delayed or the equipment may need to be placed in a different location.

Service animals should remain outside the inflatable or attraction itself and should be kept clear of operating equipment whenever possible while still allowing appropriate access for their handler.
