How far is Macedonia from your warehouse?
Our Norton warehouse is about 30 miles south. Fall weekends book quickly, and we confirm a delivery window when you reserve.
How much space does the Monster Mash obstacle course need?
Leave a 35 x 16 foot area with 15 feet of clearance and one circuit. The course finishes with a slide.
Who runs the mechanical rodeo pumpkin?
Our trained operator. The ride needs a 20 x 20 foot area, 14 feet of clearance and two circuits, and it glows orange after dark.
Can we rent a craps table by itself?
Yes. It needs no power and works alone or as part of a full casino night with our other tables.
What can the hearts yard greeting say?
It can spell I LOVE YOU or HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, or a custom message, with reversible red and white hearts around the letters.
Who can book the Field Day Run, Jump and Slide package?
Schools only. It bundles a 30-foot obstacle course, an inflatable slide and a big bounce house for a six-hour field day.
Event went great, all compliments from our staff on how the day went. All your staff was friendly, courteous and interacted with the students wonderful.
Four Directions Into Macedonia
A name from a sermon trip
The city's history page says theology students from Western Reserve College in Hudson came to preach on Sundays. Among themselves they joked about it with a line from Acts 16:9, "Come over into Macedonia, and help us." The nickname stuck for good.
First, "The Corners"
The settlement began around a log house built in 1824 at the corner of Jenkins and North Bedford Roads, so early residents called it "The Corners." A log schoolhouse came in 1833 and a frame church in 1835, and stagecoaches stopped at an inn on the line to Pittsburgh.
The crossroads of Northeast Ohio
The city calls itself "The Crossroads of Northeast Ohio," and the label fits: it sits midway between Cleveland and Akron, close to I-271, I-480 and State Routes 8 and 82.
A manor in the park
Longwood Manor, a Tudor Revival house built in 1924 and rebuilt in 1926, was the home of the city's first mayor. He left the land to residents as a public park, and today Longwood Park hosts events like FallFest.
