Treat MachinesHey Y’all… Just a note to say “Thank you!” for the wonderful inflatables party, that you worked with me on, at the local school. Because of your diligence, everything went fantastic, from start to finish, from set up all the way to tear down! The students that participated in the party, really enjoyed themselves in a very fun, safe environment. Thank you again for a job well done!

Lakewood Party Rental FAQ
How far is Lakewood from your warehouse?
About 41 miles, roughly an hour’s drive from our Norton warehouse. We schedule the crew around that so setup is finished before your guests show up.
Our lot is narrow. What fits?
A lot of Lakewood yards are long and slim. Wacky Mole needs about 10 x 18 feet, and the Retro 30 needs 40 x 16. Send us your measurements and we’ll suggest options that fit.
When does an LED screen movie start?
An LED wall is bright enough to start the film before full dark, unlike a projector screen, so younger kids can catch the ending.
Who books the Field Day Frenzy Package?
Only schools. It’s built for middle school field days, with a 60-foot obstacle course, a 4-player Hippo Chow Down, a 22-foot Vertical Rush slide and a sno-kone machine.
Do any games need a volunteer?
Yes. Cannonball Blaster and the Retro 30 each need an adult volunteer to watch the line. We’ll show them what to do at setup.
Can we set up in a city park?
Check with the city about permits and park rules first, then we’ll match your date and send any certificate of insurance the city asks for.
From the Solstice Steps to the Side Streets
The Solstice Steps opened in 2015 at the northwest corner of Lakewood Park. Tiers of stone step down the bluff from an upper promenade to the water, with grass landings between them and plenty of seats facing the lake. One regional history describes the steps as an amphitheater facing Lake Erie. They got their name because on the summer solstice the sun sets right over the central point of the steps, and people come back on clear evenings all summer to watch it.
Head back inland and the houses change from block to block. Lakewood is known as the “City of Homes,” and in about five and a half square miles the library’s history lists everything from tidy bungalows to spacious estates, plus Tudor-style apartment buildings and the high-rises along the lakefront Gold Coast. The Lakewood Historical Society’s century-home survey points out Victorian houses with turrets and leaded glass. It also notes whole streets of two-family doubles, with one unit on each floor, and a deep front porch on nearly every kind of house.
Porches and long, narrow yards are made for a party. Add a screen for sundown and you have a lakeside evening without leaving the block.
