Shaker Heights Party Rental FAQ
Do you deliver to Shaker Heights 44120 and 44122?
Yes. Shaker Heights is about 36 miles and roughly 50 minutes from our Norton warehouse. Give us the address when you check a date and we’ll confirm a window.
Will the Wild Ride fit on a city lot?
It’s our long one: plan on about 53 feet by 21 feet with 23 feet of clearance and one circuit. On a narrower yard, the Black & Gray Castle is the easier pick, and we’re happy to help you measure.
Do the tabletop games need power?
No. Maze Runner and Alien Pinball both run without electricity and fit on a patio or under a tent.
Who runs the cotton candy machine?
You provide a volunteer to operate it. The package includes enough supplies for about 400 servings, and the machine needs one circuit and a 5 x 5 foot space.
Can we set up in a park or on a public lawn?
Using a Shaker Heights park or public space? Clear permits with the city before you reserve anything.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes. Give us the name your Shaker school, congregation, neighborhood group or HOA wants on the certificate; we email it before the party.

A Suburb Built From a Pattern Book
Shaker Heights takes its name from the North Union Shaker community that farmed the land until 1889. Starting in 1905, two developer brothers laid it out as a planned “Garden City” suburb, with set places for schools, churches, shops and apartments.
Their company published its own Shaker Village Standards, rules covering setbacks, materials, exterior colors, approved house styles and even where the garage could go. Owners were encouraged to hire an architect, and the Shaker Heights Public Library notes that the company favored English, French and Colonial designs. One history of the brothers says the rule was that no two homes could be exactly alike.
That legacy is still easy to see on the street. Today the city’s own infill guidelines say detached garages should sit at the rear of the house. And about three-quarters of the city is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Shaker Village Historic District. A one-of-a-kind house deserves a one-of-a-kind party, so mix your own from the columns above.
