How much water does the dunk tank hold?

Our Towable Dunk Tank holds approximately 500 gallons of water when filled to the proper operating level.

How much does the dunk tank weigh when filled?

When filled with water, the dunk tank weighs over 4,500 pounds. Because of its weight, it must be placed on a level surface and should never be positioned on a stage, platform, deck, or elevated surface.

Does the dunk tank require supervision?

Yes. An adult operator must be on duty at all times while the dunk tank is in use.

Can the dunk tank be left filled with water overnight?

No. Never leave a dunk tank filled with water unattended. If the unit will be unattended for any period of time, the water should be drained.

How much space is needed around the dunk tank?

A safety zone should be established around the dunk tank to protect spectators from stray or deflected throws.

We recommend:

• At least 10 feet in front of the target
• At least 5 feet on each side
• At least 5 feet behind the tank

Children should never be allowed inside the throwing or splash zone unless they are participating.

Who can sit on the dunk tank seat?

Participants must:

• Be able to swim

How many people can be on the dunk tank at one time?

Only one person may be on the seat or in the tank at any time.

What should participants wear?

Participants should wear:

• Rubber-soled shoes
• Appropriate clothing that can get wet

Bare feet, sandals, and slippery footwear are not recommended.

What type of balls can be used?

Only the provided soft throw balls may be used.

Hard balls, baseballs, softballs, rocks, or any other objects are strictly prohibited.

Can participants hit the target by hand?

No. The target should only be activated by throwing the approved balls. Participants should never strike the target with their hands or any object.

Can participants stand on the seat?

No. Participants should:

• Never stand on the seat
• Never kneel on the seat
• Always sit properly facing forward

What is the proper seating position?

While seated, participants should:

• Sit forward on the seat
• Keep both hands on their knees
• Keep feet positioned safely
• Avoid holding the side handles while being dunked

What should participants do after being dunked?

After entering the water:

1. Move toward the front of the tank when surfacing.
2. Use the built-in handles to exit the tank.
3. Check that the seat is securely locked and the safety latch is engaged before sitting down again.

How full should the tank be?

The water level should remain within 8 inches of the top of the tank during operation.

Can the dunk tank be used near electrical equipment?

No. The dunk tank must be kept away from:

• Power lines
• Extension cords
• Electrical outlets
• Generators
• Any electrical equipment

Can the dunk tank be used during bad weather?

No. The dunk tank must not be operated during:

• Thunderstorms
• Lightning
