Why Kent Picks Game Craze
Event Rentals for Kent Organizations
Most of our work is for organizations, and we have packages built for them. Browse our community event rentals for city festivals, parks and recreation programs and fundraisers, our school event rentals for field days, carnivals and after-prom, and our church event rentals for VBS, fall festivals and family fun nights. For company picnics and employee appreciation days, a mechanical attraction like the mechanical bull draws a crowd, and an obstacle course keeps big groups moving.
Round it out with giant games, carnival games, a concession machine for popcorn, cotton candy or snow cones, plus tents and tables and chairs. Planning a birthday, graduation or reunion? See our bounce houses and combos and family celebration rentals.
Where to Host Your Kent Event
Kent is the largest city in Portage County, set along the Cuyahoga River and home to the main campus of Kent State University. Known as “The Tree City,” it has nearly 20 parks and preserves. Fred Fuller Park on Middlebury Road has six picnic shelters seating 32 to 64 people, several with electricity, renting for $25 to $75 depending on the day and residency. The park’s enclosed Roy Smith Shelter House seats up to 60, and the Kent Recreation Center on Franklin Avenue can be rented on weekends. Book through Kent Parks & Recreation at 330-673-8897.
Fred Fuller Park Shelters #2, #3 and #4 and the Stow Street Shelter have electricity, which makes setup easier, but ask the city about inflatables when you book. Planning a Kent State student group or campus event? Check with the university for approval first. Hosting at a school? Get the school’s approval first. Churches and private venues are usually the simplest, and we’re happy to work with your facility contact on setup.
